This policy explains what personal information Homefront Labs (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects through homefrontlabs.com and how we use it.
1. What we collect
From you: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, account details, order history, marketing preferences, and the age and research-use confirmations you give on entering the site.
Automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and cookie data.
We do not collect full payment card numbers — those go directly to our payment processor and never reach our servers.
2. How we use it
To process and deliver orders, take payment and prevent fraud, provide support, manage your account, keep records we’re legally required to keep, record your age and research-use confirmations, improve the site, and send marketing email where you’ve opted in.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
Payment processors, shipping carriers, and service providers such as hosting and email delivery, each only as needed to run the business. We may also disclose information where the law requires it. If the business is sold, information may transfer with it.
4. Cookies
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| Age and research-use confirmation | Remembers that you confirmed your age and research use, so you aren’t asked on every page | 30 days |
| Cart and session | Keeps your cart and login working | Session |
| Preferences | Remembers choices such as currency | Varies |
Essential cookies are needed for checkout to work. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
5. Marketing
We only send marketing email if you opted in. Unsubscribe using the link in any message or by emailing support@homefrontlabs.com. Messages about an order you placed aren’t marketing and will continue.
6. How long we keep it
Order and tax records for as long as the law in the jurisdiction in which Homefront Labs is established requires. Account data until you ask us to delete it. Marketing preferences until you withdraw consent. Age and research-use confirmations for as long as we may need them.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be able to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to certain processing, receive your data in a portable format, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact support@homefrontlabs.com and we’ll respond within the period the law requires.
If the UK or EU GDPR applies to you, you can complain to your national supervisory authority. If the CCPA/CPRA applies, you may request disclosure, deletion or correction of your information, and we won’t treat you differently for asking. We do not sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
8. Security and transfers
We use measures such as encryption in transit, access controls and vetted providers to protect your information, though no system is completely secure. We may process information in other countries, using appropriate safeguards where we do.
9. Age
This site isn’t directed to anyone under 21 and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe we have, contact support@homefrontlabs.com and we’ll delete it.
10. Other sites
We may link to third-party sites, including Certificates of Analysis hosted elsewhere. We’re not responsible for their privacy practices.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always published here with its date.
